Why Choose Table Tennis

Table Tennis is a sport enjoyed by more than 300 million people worldwide, which makes it one of the most popular sports in the world. Unlike many other sports you need to be physically in shape to play but in table tennis you don't really need any physical features, If you can stand over the table and hit the ball you are way ahead of the game. Many people think of Table Tennis or "Ping Pong" as a basement sport but in fact it's one of the best sports for your brain. Dr. Wendy Suzuki of New York University has done research on how "Ping Pong" or Table Tennis affects the brain and she said, "I believe the game enhances brain function unlike any other sport."

Everyone dreams about being a basketball player or a football player but who dreams of becoming a Table Tennis player. Many people who don't know the game assume this sport is as easy as 1,2,3 but really it is considered one of the hardest sports in the world. When it comes to strategy you can say that this sport is "chess on steroids." This isn't just a mind game but its a great cardio workout.
